Infantry Cuirass
16th C
This cuirass is based on a so-called "Almain Rivet", or munitions armor issued to infantry
in the 16th C. This has been modified somewhat from the original. The waistline has been
dropped into a rudimentary peascod shape and the roping has been replaced with simple flared
edges. The original, which is rough from the hammer, is in the London City Museum.
